Wow, newly elected right wing teabaggers going nuts all over |

You got the Wisconsin governor doing his thing, and in Texas they have a new law where if you are a woman and want to get an abortion, you are FORCED to get an ultrasound and have the images explained to you before you get one.
I'm sure there are other teabagger right wingers doing other nonsense around the country, they want to go back hundreds of years and wipe out all progress since then.
So, will the United States people put up with this crap? I'm sad if this backwards stuff will be tolerated.

For well-to-do women & girls, nothing will change. They will still have safe abortions because they can afford to go anywhere they need to, and have connections to get one if necessary.
The whole "debate" is about money..It's wrapped in religion, but at the core it's just the same old burr under the saddle it's always been. Rightwingers object to poor women/girls getting ANYTHING FREE..even an abortion..and even though it's never even BEEN "free".. They object to funding any organization that helps poor women gain even a little control over their lives..

It's about state ownership of women and fetuses. Even if the average middle class woman can afford to have an abortion, they don't want her to be able to get it.
I do agree, though, that the rules, or lack of them, are different for the wealthy.

the saying went "Poor girls get back-alley abortions, rich girls get D and C's".
also..
"Poor college kids get the clap, rich kids just get a bad bacteria."

9. "Laura was sent abroad for her "exhaustion".." that was a favorite of mine |
|
this was the niece of a friend of my Aunt's..
Laura was exhausted from worrying about the fact that she was 16 and pregnant...but she went to Europe to "rest", and then finished high school in Switzerland.. She entered college in the US ..on time and "rested".

4. I thought tea baggers were against unnecessary medical expenses |
|
and against health mandates. Here they are basically mandating an unnecessary medical procedure to do another one! They are getting between you and your doctor! It's everything they mass protest against. So excuse me if I ignore their B.S. fake concern yet again. :)

They are willing to compromise their principals when it comes to making sure the poor can't exercise their rights.

I bet they read the same stories that horrify us, and think, "Good. Finally."
