So, when the tea-party folks show up in Wisconsin tomorrow...
Will they be arriving in buses?
From out of state?

Will they be armed?
Like at the health care town halls?

Will they be spoiling for a fight?
Will they start some shit to provoke violence in what has been up to this point, a peaceful demonstration?

And when a punch is thrown or a shot fired, will they blame us?
Will they?

I am concerned about this weekend.

5. I hope for the best but what's going to happen is going to happen.
I tell you what, though, there's going to be zero sympathy for any disruptors and there will be scrutiny about the thugs' financing regardless of how out of hand it gets. This could get ugly for the "Tea Partiers" in a big way.

We're discussing it here at home. But, whatever happens will happen. No reason for pro-union ppl to stay home and eat crap just 'cause the Teatards may roll into town.

Especially among the teachers - armed with red pens!!

Edit: Just thought - red correction pens should become a symbol for the teachers union, correcting the WI budget. Red pens for everyone!!

8. Are you kidding me? The folks in their motorized chairs?
I mean, really. From what I've seen, they are all a bunch of aging guys and women just out for a short time to yell and complain.

Really, they are no match for the younger, stronger workers and students who will have to help them find the bathrooms at the capital...

This will be interesting...

Laugh uproariously at every Tea Bagger speaker, point and laugh at their signs -- no argument, no debate, just laugh in their faces.

14. The other bill the Repukes want to shove down our throats is concealed carry
so that they can weaponize everyone in the state everywhere all the time. And the folks coming in are just the type to want that sort of thing. Although thats not the issue here, it wouldn't be surprising if there were a few crazies that show up with guns. I think they'd have to install security to stop it, and that would cost a bit. Maybe they can do it for the Capitol building, but not for the square.

that can be shown on a continuous loop on the MSM. This is Breitbart. Remember Shirley Sherrod? ANYTHING that happens will be taken out of context. CAMERAS! LOTS OF CAMERAS in our crowd. Also, you've got to watch for agent provocateurs in OUR crowds too. Also, remember what they did in Egypt with the provocateurs. They captured them, disarmed them, took their IDs for proof, and handcuffed them for the Army.

See my post above.

Just point and laugh. Don't engage them in any way whatsoever. Just laugh loud and long.

I dare the media to show THAT! Real citizens just laughing their heads off at the precious Tea Baggers.

30. Laughter is always the best medicine...........
:) Especially for ignorance. But make sure you've got cameras in case the douchebag goes off and attacks. I wouldn't give up my right to self defense.

The biggest thing that I worry about is that this isn't going to be a regular "tea party" geriatric crowd. They've had a week to plan this and they're being bussed in by Breitbart. These might be the brown shirts. We'll see.

22. Well...
A lot of them will come from out of state.

IF they do come armed they will be painted as the "THUGS" like those who tried to break up the protest in Egypt. Same thing if they try and start fights, it won't look good for them at all.

Now I am not saying they won't do any of these things, but it would be crazy if they did. This has been a peaceful protest, and if teabaggers come in and stir it up, the country is going to see it, and it will turn out very bad for them. Whoever is organizing the teabaggers will be held responsible for their actions.

I really hope there is no violence, and most of all that NOBODY gets hurt!

25. With even more good people going to Madison how will the teabaggers face the numbers?
It would have to rattle a few thousand people to be met by tens of thousands.

I have to wonder and worry and wait because I can't wrap my mind around the vision of an armed conflict. Even as old as I am and have seen some bad things happen in America I just can't accept that people could die.

27. I can't help but think that, somewhere, a couple of baggers are getting a real
chuckle out of this thread.

"All we did was say we'd show up an' those pantywaist libs are filling their Depends!"

Take a deep breath, folks. There is only one way to deal with these loudmouth bullies: stand your ground and force them to move beyond scare tactics. Tell them to put up or shut up.

This arthritic sixty-something will be in Madison tomorrow, wearing a Democratic Underground cap and a "No Tea Party" shirt. My shoes? I'll be wearing my snake-stompers---cause you just never know!

35. I would be concerned too
The tea party are like the monsters from "28 Days Later" they're mindless, dangerous and filled with hate. Hopefully the protesters stay far away from them as possible. They maybe few in numbers compare to the pro-union protesters but it would only take one of these tea bag loons to lose his shit and start something with the protesters.

36. A message from one of the Facebook groups organizingour side for tomorrow:
Tomorrow will be the start of the weekend. With the weekend will bring in unprecendented amounts of people to the capitol for this bill. If you have been following this past week, you would have been able to easily tell that its mostly about being against the bill.... Tomorrow, we may finally be able to see SOME sort of movement FOR this bill (cue booing).

A Group of teapartiers are planning to rally and meet for tomorrow around noon till who knows when. There all numbers are unconfirmed at this point, but it sounds like many will be bussed in.

It is EXTREMELY important that we outnumber and outclass them.

You MUST show up tomorrow to rally. If we cannot show there is a ton more support against this bill than for it, all efforts would have been a waste up to this point. National Media will be here ALL weekend, and it is essential we do not provide them with any opportunity to discredit or downplay the mass of our efforts.

Bring EVERYBODY YOU KNOW (leave little kids at home, remember, we are dealing with ignorant people here)

We all MUST remember to stay calm, cool and collected when facing these people. WE MUST STAY PEACEFUL AT ALL COSTS. Their main purpose tomorrow is going to be to egg us on and try to force us to be violent. RESIST AT ALL COSTS. Any form of violence or rioting will EXTREMELY discredit our causes to no end. We will lose the fight if we riot.

I think Martin Luther King said it best " "If you cannot totally commit to non-violence, do not attend the demonstration! Any act of violence negates ALL of our work!"

SERIOUSLY! The only time I will EVER tell you to back down is if they try to fight you. Walk away, tuck and cover, grab a police officer, WHATEVER. It's not worth you getting arrestted and it is DEFINITELY not worth discrediting our cause.

ALSO PLEASE DON'T MAKE SIGNS THAT FOX CAN USE AGAINST US. NO WALKER = HITLER OR MINI MURABAK SIGNS! THIS MAKES US LOOK HORRIBLE AND DISCREDITS US. PLEASE BRING SIGNS WITH FACTS OR DEMANDS ON IT (THERE IS NO DEFICIENT, KILL THE BILL, RECALL WALKER, ETC.). DO NOT SINK YOUR SELF TO THE LOW LEVEL OF NAME CALLING OR DEMONIZING!

AGAIN. PLEASE STAY PEACEFUL!
