1. I get Friday off..
And I'm going to lose banked vacation days because I couldn't use them.

8. Mr. Brickbat is on call essentially 24/7/365 and regularly works 70 hours a week.
It pisses me right off when Congresspeople boo-hoo about not being able to spend Christmas with their families. Cry me a fucking river.

9. And it isn't actually Christmas
Edited on Mon Dec-20-10 08:47 PM by polmaven
about which Yertle....I mean...McConnell was whining. I have no doubt they all would have had Friday and Saturday off, by whatever twist they need to do to say they remained in session. They were complaining because they were going to be called BACK for the week AFTER Christmas....I'm sure you and Mr. Brickbat actually do have that week off, doncha? I mean - who works the last week of any year? That is just too sacred!

10. I have to work on Christmas Eve and Christmas.
At some point I obviously pissed Jesus off and now I'm not invited to his birthday party.
