Great idea, Life insurance! |
|
pats own self on back. Oh, not the kind you're thinking of. That really should be called death insurance, because it goes into effect when you start your dirt nap. This is an insurance policy that pays out for keeping yourself alive! Oh fuck.
That's what health insurance is supposed to do.
Go to the next thread please.

1. Dirt nap. I don't like the idea of a dirt nap. |

2. We have that type of insurance. Annuities. |
|
You're betting with the insurance company that you'll stay alive long enough to collect more than you paid into it. Also, long term care fits into that category to a certain extent.

3. Health insurance is a misnomer. It's actually medical insurance. |

That's what we used to call it, because it paid for medical services/products.
I don't think "health" insurance pays for anything actually healthy, like a three-month vacation.

5. "Health care services contract" is more like what you actually get. |

6. No, it's still just medical services and products (medicine), not health services. |
|
Something healthy would be a three-month vacation.
