Old Man McCain: Social Security is "a Ponzi scheme that Bernie Madoff would be proud of."
MCCAIN: Yeah, and for example, increase the age eligibility by a month every year or so, I mean, uh, lift the cap. Right now there’s a certain amount you pay into Social Security, and then after that it’s not taxed. There’s a number of things you can do to that are pretty simple and are pretty gradual keep the system from going bankrupt which basically it already is, because we’ve already spent the money that’s in the Social Security trust fund. It’s a Ponzi scheme that Bernie Madoff would be proud of.

3. Let's see ... kill Social Security, bust all the unions, kill Medicare
Then, of course, limit voting rights ("Voter ID" laws) ... the rape of the country by the rich would be complete.

And make no mistake, that is EXACTLY what they want.

5. Pretty circuitous way for Grampy to say lift the cap
He's got just about every fact wrong, but his point that lifting the earnings cap on social security withholding is correct. Although his maze of verbiage is such that he may not even realize that that's what he was saying.

6. How many homes does he own again? Somebody tell McCain and Alan Simpson to get lost.
Neither need dime 1 of our greatest social safety net program, but they lecture us about it ceaselessly. Include turdball columnist Robert Samuelson in that.

I have a message for all three of you: Get off of my lawn.

12. No the scheme is the government itself not Social Security.
And it's the American peoples fault for allowing the government to scheme a good practice.
