$368.45 has been contributed to your Simplified Employee Pension(SEP) account for the 2009-2010 fiscal year.
You are an important part of the success of our company. We look forward to another profitable year, for all our eligible employees, in 2011.
Again, thank you for your hard work & dedication to (insert my shitty employer here)!
Sincerely,
(My Cheap Ass Tax Break Getting, Stingy McScrooge Grinch Ass Profit Making salvage outfit.)
At this rate, I can retire when I'm about 400 years old.
How's your bonus going? I'm sure feeling warm and fuzzy.
on edit: I got this exact letter today from my employer, minus the redactions.
Happy Holidays!

It's probably less than you deserve, but better than a kick in the teeth. :)
I don't get a Christmas bonus, but I am employed, so for this crappy economy, I'll take it.

Nothing that is due has been paid, nothing given, no prospects within sight.
Got nothing, about what I had many years ago.
Although I am still due beer and travel money, and many experiences.
I have figured out many of the core issues and what is to blame, and how in the same way they created injustice in what happened to me, they also create injustice in much of the world, so there is that.
And I may have given nothing with the years of expecting what is just, or if what I gave had value, then only the unjust took it for there own gain, since nothing has occurred from that, except evidence. Although it may have had value used for better gain also, for some probably true, for some what they would say as a rational, with a snide comment on it being the way it is suppose to be as rationale also.
So it is interesting.
It presents some real challenges to thoughts of nihilism, and I understand how many reach thoughts like that, might even be the purpose of some actions.

4. And before someone else says it, I know I'm lucky to have any job. |

I'm considering just dishing out my $368 to homeless people $5-$10 at a time.

R You kidding me? :wow:
Are you gonna make a move in the market? ...... w/ that cash you are a player!
Real Estate in a good market?
Hedge Funds?
1/4 in T-bills and the rest in other interest bearing accounts?
but if it was me I would just retire to S.E. Alaska on some island & the South Pacific to live the good life.
