Democrats should call for a rollback in all taxes to 2000 levels. |

That is doing our part to help balance the budget. The Repubs are asking for cuts in social programs and more taxcuts. We say no more taxcuts but, rather, roll back all taxcuts to the same level they were when Bill Clinton left office.
It wasn't that long ago. One short decade, in fact.
We were not running any deficits. The military budget was half what it is now. We were running a surplus and paying off some of the national debt, without using the Social Security fund to do so. The top tax rate was only 39%. But we did not have the debt and deficit problems we have now.
Democrats need to be more progressive in their thinking. They are stuck in the mud of Republican propaganda and there is no one to lead them. We cannot survive long in this mode. We must change as a Party.

4. which makes me want to believe that many of our dems are just as bad as the pukes are |
|
when I say bad I mean 'on the take' that kind of thing. If most of the dems were squeaky clean they'd be squealing like pigs caught under a gate. They're silence is very telling to me anyway.
