Could the census change be good news? |
If all these people are moving from Blue, Coastal, urban areas to red, central rural areas...could that ppossibly change the polictic of those areas from red, to at least purple????????
Do people from Blue ares become Red voters when they move to Red areas..or do they change the "complexion" of the area???

1. Alas, I don't think it will make a difference |
Don't forget the legislative gerrymandering that is about to occur in practically every state. With today's computers the districts can be drawn right down to the street level, so any blue additions to a red state can be corralled into an already-blue district.

2. An awful lot of the "natives" in those red states would have to die off for the relatively few |
blue folks to have any impact. Doubt that they devolve into red voters, but they are not going to be changing the complexion either.
