I feel like the union busting in Wisconsin can be beaten back, but I don't know about other states |
|
Of course there is no guarantee that even the Wisconsin union busting can be defeated, but there is a good fighting chance I think.
But what about red states where union membership is smaller, less powerful and generally not as popular among the non-union population? Or the states where Democrats are more of the DLC, Blue Dog, Good ole boy, Joe Lieberman go along to get along type? Other states are watching and will likely try to duplicate Governor Walker's efforts even he is not successful in his state.

Workers and the middle class will be lost for at least a generation as the new feudalism and Golden Age of the Robber Barons gets another go-round.

3. Starving people have nothing to lose. |

People will not see their children go hungry.
They tend to form angry mobs when that happens.
And the wealthy and powerful people tend to lose their heads.

And many people are starting to get hungry what with the loss of incomes and the rampant speculations driving both food and fuel higher simultaneously.

6. If the Koch think that all Americans will bend their knees before them, |

they have badly underestimated just how angry we as a people can get when provoked past all limits.
We are approaching that territory.

7. One state at a time. The first would probably be the most difficult. |

After that, a roller coaster effect could kick in.
