"We ask you to deliver us from those who seek to take our wealth and redistribute it . . . . .
it to special interest groups,"
Kauffman prayed to God." Even the blessing over the night's meal, given by Rev. Bill Kauffman, had a strong Republican message."

Rove speaks at Republican dinner - Chambersburg Public Opinion

"I think the elections in 2010 and 2012 probably are the most important in our lifetime," he said, adding that the voters have to decide whether they want to continue pursuing "Barack Obama's vision for America."

"We have to decide whether we want to become ... some sort of social democracy that ranks up there with Honduras and Malaysia, or whether we become a nation of unlimited freedom and unlimited opportunity."

Rove cracked a few jokes at the expense of Democrats, including former Vice President Al Gore. He asked the crowd if they remembered how "annoying" the man was, but added that Gore deserved some gratitude for having "invented the Internet."

"The Internet. That was a heck of a lot better than that other thing he invented, global warming," Rove said, and the room erupted in laughter and applause.

Prior to the dinner, Rove signed hundreds of copies of his new book, "Courage and Consequence: My Life as a Conservative in the Fight." Everyone who purchased a ticket to the event received a copy of the book.

Don't you wish you lived where I live?

1. It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a
poor man to enter into the Kingdom of God.

3. They love God and the bible but they never mention
this quote
It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."

If there is a god I would pay anything to be standing at the gates of heaven when some of these fuckers try to get in.

6. They're going to Hell, that's for sure, by the words of their own Bible:
Edited on Mon Feb-28-11 07:22 PM by The Velveteen Ocelot
31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’

44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’

45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’

46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

Matthew 24:31-46. That's a biggie as far as J.C. was concerned. Too bad they don't listen to their own guy.

10. I guess he doesn't mean those taking wealth from the middle class and
redistributing to the corporations and the already super-rich?

11. Awe Darn

From the thread title, I imagined it was an entreaty to Anonymous, to fix the wrong distribution of assets so that all of us have some...

Those pinheaded monsters waged war, deregulated everything, refused to promote a living wage or universal healthcare and reaped the whirlwind from OUR fallout. Now they accuse us of taking THEIR money?

Greed is a nasty thing no prayer can sanitize, boys...and Rove should be in prison.
