North Korea is A Democratic Republic. |
|
It's in their name so it must be true. And given the total lack of freedom, totalitarian brutality, cultish worship of their leader, and low standard of living I think that proves what an abject democratic republics are. Anyone who advocates such a government is clearly a supporter of North Korean style totalitarianism--even if they say they're not, because it's inevitable. Human nature is just such that it wasn't made for democratic republicanism. Sure, it's a nice academic theory, but we have to deal with reality.
