Democratic Underground's website has crashed or been taken down by the Hacker Anonymous

As a conservative, I do not find this funny. It is a violation of fundamental property rights and intrinsically an act of violence that stands in contrast to conservative principles of fundamental individual liberty.

As much as I detest the left, hacking privately-owned websites is unacceptable behavior and should be punished by the authorities.

Either you belive in the constitution or you don’t. Regardless it’s not likely that crashing a raving moonbat site is going to slow the pace of national socialism.

We have to be careful to stand for their rights as well as ours, we don’t need to discriminate against thought like they do.

Lets be consistent.

That’s not cool. Sorry but FR has been attacked to often for me to laugh when it happens to someone else. Even DUmmies.

Agreed. I don't agree with their manure but will defend to the death their right to shovel it. Plus I miss my daily DUmmie FUnnies. It's like somebody stole our ant farm.

Democrat Underground sucks, but it has the right to suck publicly and loud, without being hacked, or shut down by a corporate or government entity.
I bet it's just a tech problem.

Does fighting against the enemies of the constitution allow you to abrogate the rights of individuals that should enjoy the protections of the constitution? That’s a slippery slope...hope you have some skis.

1. And not one of them checked to see if it was true? Is that right?

3. I couldn't say
I don't know if they've seen Skinner's explanation for what happened, but some of them seemed pretty confident it was just a server glitch and not Anonymous.

4. When one can't understand what's going on, it's pretty easy to
assume that there's nothing going on at all.
