Just watched that weasel, Lindsay Graham. Complaining about our kickass lame duck action. He said that the people spoke, and we should stop doing stuff. All stuff must cease. He said that Start is just Obama looking for another win. Another accomplishment. All Obama successes must cease. Rant and ramble. It was a thing of beauty. What I discovered, is Bohner is a crybaby smirking bufoon, Graham is not believable, nor charismatic. Grandpa McCain is just plain ugly to listen to anymore. Who you gonna call? Cantor and a coupla baggers is all they got for gravity. For import. For persuation.
The winds are shifting direction. They are seeing that even if it were possible to end all progress, the American people will not stand for that in reality. Sure, rhetorically, it is a romantic notion to end gov. When they cut services that are vital in your digs, it isn't funny or fun anymore.
There is noone, and Their pristine candidate, Romney lacks all charisma, and smacks of used car salesman.
Its time to start fighting back. Lets roll.

to let your adversary think that he got the better deal. It sets them up for a bigger fall later. That's what I think Graham was doing indirectly - going public with the idea that Reid won the end of the year. When in reality, there is a continuing resolution on the omnibus budget bill. Sometime around February, the folks over in the House of Representatives (then to be run by Republicans) will want to make major changes to the omnibus or rewrite it altogether. They will threaten to shut down the federal government over the debt ceiling since the omnibus bill would push spending (and borrowing) over the top. They will call for drastic cuts in all social programs, or they will shut down the federal government. They will get to defund programs that they don't like including health care reform, the implementation provisions of the Wall Street reform bill, etc. So, while they run off to Christmas vacation, the Republicans have something to be very happy for. They snookered Reid into going for a continuing resolution (continuing the 2010 levels of government funding until the omnibus is passed).

She has less gravitas than all the other repub "leaders" combined.
But the liberal media LOVE her and she will do anything to keep her face in front of the public between now and the 2012 primaries. That said I don't really see her as a threat to Obama.
To your main point, once people see through the media hype and realize what these losers are really up to they will revolt. But by then it may be too late. What is going on here is systematic dismantling of the commons by corporatist lackeys.

I'll bet Sister Sarah wins the nomination, which would be great for Obama.

The only way the capitalists become "reasonable" is when they DO fear the people. It's coming.

In 2008 I thought we'd won. Now I think we thought we won but we really didn't win much of anything. It's kind of like competing for some unnamed grand prize. You outrun a hundred or so people, nearly killing yourself in the process, only to realize the grand prize was a blue ribbon with a corporate logo on it. Go figure.

13. Graham is playing to his base in SC. |

He's already been censured twice here because he isn't conserative enough and he cooperates with the Dems. The Tea Party has painted a big red bullseye on him for the next primary.
