The Weasels regain Toad Hall, Badgers not welcome.
Ok, a reference to my favorite childhood novel but it seems appropriate. Here's a link to Wisconsin Public Television's (WHA)coverage of Walker's Budget address (It's in the Videos section):

http://www.wpt.org/

It's predictable, I'm not sure if it's even worth watching but there it is. Somehow, it seems that the Capitol is now filled with people full of enthusiasm and applause for Walker's concern for "the children" and "responsibility" and "the future" and the fact that Wisconsin is "open for business."

The head weasel spins it all to weaselly applause.

For a little reality, you might want to click on the video link "Medicare Matters" to get a sense of what one of the lesser known clauses in Walker's assault on Wisconsin means.

3. My favorite Wind in the Willows' weasels. Captures their character nicely:

4. That is good.
Badger: "As you sow, so shall you reap."
...Mole: "Well at least that's taught him a lesson. Perhaps he'll be a better person now."
Ratty: "You don't know your weasels, Mole. Weasels don't change. You mark my words"
Badger: "No Ratty, Weasels don't change. And neither do humans, I'm afraid. Ah well."

That book made sense to me as a kid and it sure makes sense now. Some humans are just weasels.
