Isn't it about time for Fair Deal II ?
Didn't Harry Truman have the first Fair Deal?

Does anyone not see the unfairness? Cutting schools, teachers, old folks, the poor, the cold, those in the most need, just so we can give more money to the wealthy. How insane is that!

It always happens like that. Those at the top end up with more and more and those on the bottom end up with less and less. It's happened many times before. This is not the first time.

But, we have always had leaders that were willing to stand up and say, "Wait just one goddamn minute!" Money is nothing but paper. If you cannot spend it, if you cannot invest it, if you cannot pay your employees more, then you have too much money. Your paper in your vault is only there for your own vain glory. That is as worthless as a bucket of hot piss.

It is time for a "Fair Deal". It is time we level the field once again. If not the Democratic Party, then who?

2. Have you checked out Thom Hartmann's new book?
It's available at truthout, the link is something of a table of contents page. I have yet to read all of it myself, but have checked out a couple of chapters. The term I've employed is existential infrastructure, and how a smarter model might work more sensibly and soundly.

3. Well, maybe when Obama is done trotting around with Jeb tomorrow
He might can think about addressing it.

However, I am not holding my breath. :(

5. HW was taken by Bid Dog, Obama gets the debutante nobody wanted
:puke:

He goes on Fox, and not Democracy Now!
He appears with Jeb Bushista, and not Noam Chomsky

I wish Dr King could come back and have a little chat with this man.
