The Huckster brings up that damned bust of Churchill AGAIN!

First, the bust was on loan from the Brits and was returned to them
Second, David Miliband was the first foreign diplomat to meet with SoS HRC (Miliband is British)
Third, almost all the Brits I've ever met (and I've met quite a few) find the American obsession with Churchill to be rather bizarre.
Fourth, most Brits don't really care that he returned it -- I mean why would they be upset that he returned their possession to them -- Yes, Obama was offered the opportunity to keep the bust for four more years and declined.
He chose to have a bust of Lincoln on his desk. Damn you Obama. Choosing an American President over a British Prime Minister. America Hater.

On the other hand, maybe my neighbor is offended that I returned his lawnmower that he loaned me to do my lawn.

1. Correction

President Obama replaced the bust of Churchill, which was displayed on one side of the fireplace in the Oval Office, with a bust of Martin Luther King Jr.

2. Newsweek reported it was Lincoln when he moved into the WH

3. Well we are BOTH right

Obama put the Lincoln bust on the left side of the fireplace (where the Churchill bust used to be) and put the new Martin Luther King Jr. bust on the right side of the fireplace (where the Lincoln bust used to be).

So, basically Lincoln was already there in the Oval Office but got moved, either way though Churchill had to go to make room for MLK.
