How the rich soaked the rest of us (with graphs from 1913 to now)
Edited on Wed Mar-02-11 02:31 PM by Cal33

I've also read that in the 1970s the amount of taxes the rich escaped from paying amounted to 3 times
what the poor were receiving in welfare. Some called this "welfare for the rich." But the rich were
playing up on welfare for the poor to distract attention from the taxes that they were not playing because
of the loop-holes. They own 90% of the news media, and that's how they brain-washed the people.

Today, "welfare for the rich" must be costing the American taxpayer about 10 times what "welfare
for the poor" does.

5. Ten times? I would say if you consider the
Eleven to thirty trillion bucks offered to the Ultra Rich by the Backdoor of the Federal Reserve (What Bernanke calls setting up "Digitized Accounts,) it is probably more on the order of one million times.

Three years after the largest plan collapse of the United States economy, not one financial executive sits in jail. Yet every year, thousands of "scofflaws" sit in jail for violating some provision of the unemployment money regs, the food stamp regs, or the welfare money regs.

Some of these charges are so trumped up it is unbelievable. Both myself and a neighbor were (separately) accused of unemployment monies fraud, and both of us were threatened with sixteen years in jail.

In my case, I reported the money as I should have, but the very disorganized attorney that I worked for reported the money two months later, and he had a computer statement for the fact, while I only had notes in a journal. If it hadn't been for the fact that an employment agency had sent me to that 3 day job, I would probably have been indicted.
