You Just Know It Is Coming, But It's Still Going To Make You Sick |
|
Somewhere James Glassman (executive director of the George W. Bush Institute, former publisher of The New Republic, and all-around Republican propagandist) is taking notes and formulating a push on how these uprisings in the Middle East are because of George Bush "spreading freedom".
This guy was probably right in the thick pushing the meme that Ronald Reagan "won the cold war" and "toppled communism".
I know it is coming, but it's still going to make me :puke: when I see the first pundit say it on TV, or the first book published that pronounces the idea.

it'll be Bush's fault? It still isn't a sure thing that it won't go bad. Hell a couple of them are already bad enough (Libya) and might get worse. Also if it is all Bush's doing then it is his fault gas prices are so high, again.

9. No, if Egypt, Libya, et al, end up as Islamic Theocracies, it is clearly Obama's fault for... |
|
trashing Bush's genius foreign policies before they could bear fruit.

Mubarak's gone but now there's a military dictatorship in his place. Do we credit Bush for that "outcome"?

when asked, nobody will be able to explain how the invasion/occupation of Iraq and/or Buscho's call for "freedom" in the ME is responsible for what's going on now. Like with Reagan and the fall of the Soviet Union, nobody will bother to ask either and once again allow the lie to become the truth.

8. Riiiiighht, the loathsome author of "Dow 36,000". |
|
He's been pwned on more than a few news segments in the last decade due to his laissez-faire, "TEH FREE MARKETZ" economic views.
Yeah, how's that thirty-six grand Dow working out for you? Heckuvajob, Jimmeh!

11. They already did that the other week at AEI. |

At an event at the American Enterprise Institute, Marc Thiessen claimed just that.
"I think you're seeing the freedom agenda that was unleashed during the Bush administration start spreading."
That's a direct quote.

14. Is that why he sat and did nothing when we were under attack on 9/11? |
|
Is that why he sat and stared off into space while 3,000 of our fellow Americans were dying?
...so a reluctant country would follow him to victory in the mideast?
I thought there was a reason! What a genius!
