Harry Reid: Boehner being ‘bossed around by a bunch of freshmen’

WASHINGTON – Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) jabbed at House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) after he accused the Majority Leader of having no plan to cut spending.

"That’s tough talk from someone who is being bossed around by a bunch of freshmen," Reid's spokesman Jon Summers said in a statement. "It's surprising that the Speaker of the House is unaware that the Senate is voting on a bill to fund the government and cut spending this morning."

Reid was likely referring to the 87 freshmen Republicans in the House, an ideologically-driven group that appears willing to take on the party leadership.

I'm not on the Harry Reid fan bus, but every now and then he makes a hit on the Repukes. I also think Harry has been a little tougher since he won re-election.
