DU Withdrawl was beginning to set in

this is the first time in three days that I have been able to get DU up on my computer. It's usually the first place I log into in the morning just to get the factual news about what's going on in politics. I'm So relieved, 20 minutes ago, I finally was able to get it up.

I checked in with the DU Panic Room (Yahoo groups) where folks here can meet up when they're in a panic because DU is down. :scared:

Members there came up with all kinds of suggestions and this proxy server worked for me. You might want to save it, just in case. I wasn't able to do certain things here, like recommend threads or see pix, but it worked well, otherwise, for me. :thumbsup:

I was panicking and thinking there was no way for me to find out what was happening. I will store this site in the hopes that if I am prepared this will never happen again! I had definite DU withdrawal. So happy when it actually connected a few minutes ago.

9. I must admit

I started to create some wild stories in the beginning as well. I too, cleaned, disinfected, kicked, refrigerated and soaked my computers in boiling water to get into DU lol. You guys are great and I missed this place more than I thought I would. This is one of the few places I trust.

14. I have a brand new computer and swore I must have done something

wrong amongst all the downloading one must do with a new one. Finally, I trecked over to FR, and voila, they were discussing us. Believe it or not many were upset that someone had tried to hack us. They may hate us but admit we have the right to be stoopid. Some pretty funny stuff...
