Judge Orders State Capitol Open To General Public- Walker Breaks Law, Refuses Access 2 Capitol
How is this acceptable?

How is this not the top news story on the hour every hour??!!

MADISON, Wis. -- A Dane County judge has ordered Wisconsin officials to open the Capitol to all members of the public during normal business hours.

According to court records, Judge Daniel Moeser has issued a temporary restraining order to reopen the Capitol until a trial court can schedule a hearing. The order says the building must be open to the public during business hours and when "governmental matters, such as hearings, listening sessions, or court arguments are being conducted."

Tweets from reality:

Gov. Walker defies court order. Capitol remains closed. Hearing at 2:15. Advise anyone in Madison to get to Capitol grounds ASAP!

Okay folks on the ground. Hand tight, the DOA is keeping their closed door policy for now unlawful or not

DOA ignoring injuction, claims it is already in compliance. Those denied access would probably disagree.

Walker now asserts he is "above the law". Refuses to open the Capitol Bldg to the Taxpayers
Holy crap, walked back out and was met with the backs of a line of cops, totally blocking entrance to protesters

Those on site reporting that DOA is refusing entry to the Capitol despite a court order.

State Capitol rotunda is still looking quite empty today.

2. Isn't it nice how Scott Walker is trying to choke his own state?
Look at him, breaking laws in order to act against the will of the people.

God bless America.

6. How does anyone even know that Walker is the one behind this?
Last week, the claim was that Walker sent state troopers to the homes of state senators. In fact, Walker had nothing to do with it whatsoever. It was the speaker of the house who called the house sergeant-at-arms, who then took state troopers with him to senator's homes.

It strikes me as very odd indeed that Walker would have anything to do with when or how the state legislature opens and closes its doors. I'm betting that this was the house and/or senate leadership, both R, that are behind this.

7. You really believe, after hearing Wanker talk to "Koch", that Wanker is sitting
innocently on the sidelines? Whether any of these fascist ideas originated in his crazy mind is beside the point. He's the one in charge.

12. I didn't say he was sitting innocently on the sidelines.
I'm certainly not trying to defend Walker in the least here. He most definitely has his culpability in this whole mess, really the majority of the culpability. What I was pointing out, though, is that it defies logic to say that the governor is in charge of the legislative building. If someone told the police to close the capitol building, then it's far more reasonable to think that it was the legislature who did that, not the governor. There are far more players here than just Walker. The Rs in the legislature are certainly playing their part.

Does anyone have any actual evidence of Walker ordering the police to run people out of the capitol? An e-mail or a telephone conversation with a police chief or something like that? Because if not, no matter how much of a scumbag Walker may be, it's not terribly logical to accuse him of something that, absent any evidence to say so, is pretty unlikely for him to have done. It's far more logical to lay the blame at the feet of the Rs in the legislature in this case.

8. And who's pulling the strings of ALL of them????
If you don't think that this is a conspiracy backed by the owners of the entire Wisconsin Republican Party, well I don't think that anything will convince you.

13. That's an entirely different matter.
I don't disagree that there are lots of people involved here. The point is that it's just not logical to jump on the governor bandwagon here when the greater likelihood, logically, that the legislature is who closed the capitol, not the governor.

11. A couple of paragraphs from the Wisconsin state constitution.
(snip)

Right to assemble and petition. SECTION 4. The right of
the people peaceably to assemble, to consult for the common
good, and to petition the government, or any department thereof,
shall never be abridged.

Journals; open doors; adjournments. SECTION 10.
Each house shall keep a journal of its proceedings and publish
the same, except such parts as require secrecy. The doors of each
house shall be kept open except when the public welfare shall
require secrecy. Neither house shall, without consent of the
other, adjourn for more than three days.

The rest of the country should be apprised that if this "coup d'etat" succeeds in Wisconsin, your state will be next.

Wisconsin is a test case and a blueprint for the rest of the country. Every American should take warning about what is happening in Wisconsin.

...and remember the words of Martin Niemoller.
