I hate to beat a dead horse: But, seriously, Republicans are assholes.
This isn't a matter of differing opinions. They are truly malevolent creatures.

They are racist, homophobic, sexist, greedy, opportunistic pricks. And with each passing day comes the complete and utter affirmation of that fact.

Their media, social and religious and political leaders, and their followers are sapping us dry of our humanity. I'm nearly past the point of being angry. I'm just in awe of the overwhelming stink of vileness that emanates from everything they touch.

Goddamnit

1. Yes they are, but they know how to wage Political Warfare
A skill Democrats could seriously stand to acquire.

4. Agree. Their messaging is sound-bite length and they're all
saying the exact same phrase, hammering it home. Endlessly.

19. Well unfortunately Democrats seem to have a bad habit
of intellectualizing everything into the ground. Which is fine in normal times when one is trying to come up with creative ways to move the country forward. But these are not normal times, these are times in which the American people are under the threat of tyranny. This is political warfare, not a time we need to be looking for a Kumbaya moment, but a time when we need to be looking to preserve our country and our freedoms by whatever means it takes to accomplished that.

As long as we avoid certain topics, he's a decent guy. When we start talking religion or politics, he's a complete prick.

33. I tried asking a Republican friend this last election
I kept saying over and over "what are you all so afraid of?" and never got an answer. I have come to believe it was race as there seemed to be no other logical answer.

7. No no no. They are willfully destructive.
By writing them off as "challenged" you are letting them off the hook for all the terrible things they do.

9. Seriously, they really are but I at the same time am tired of the fact that
everyone, at least those of us on the other side know this but our supposedly leaders in the democratic party always seems to back down from a fight with them. Even on the budget battle & shutdown of the government, dems blinked as usual & as a result everything again will be done on the backs of the poor.

22. Republicans love dead horses. Like Reaganomics.
Dakota tribal wisdom says that when you discover you are riding a dead horse, the best strategy is to dismount.

In business, however, it seems that we often try other strategies with dead horses, including the following:

1. Buying a stronger whip.
2. Changing riders.
3. Saying things like "This is the way we always have ridden this horse."
4. Appointing a committee to study the horse.
5. Arranging to visit other sites to see how they ride dead horses.
6. Increasing the standards to ride dead horses.
7. Appointing a tiger team to revive the dead horse.
8. Creating a training session to increase our riding ability.
9. Comparing the state of dead horses in today's environment.
10. Change the requirements declaring that "This horse is not dead."
11. Hire contractors to ride the dead horse.
12. Harnessing several dead horses together for increased speed.
13. Declaring that "No horse is too dead to beat."
14. Providing additional funding to increase the horse's performance.
15. Do a CA Study to see if contractors can ride it cheaper.
16. Purchase a product to make dead horses run faster.
17. Declare the horse is "better, faster and cheaper" dead.
18. Form a quality circle to find uses for dead horses.
19. Revisit the performance requirements for horses.
20. Say this horse was procured with cost as an independent variable.
21. Promote the dead horse to a supervisory position.

Especially #'s 2, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, and 21.

29. Those that aren't racist or homophobic are perfectly willing to play to
the base's homophobic, racist, sexist fears. You can't tell me that Huckabee really believes Obama grew up in Kenya...but he's willing to use vague fears about a black foreigner with a funny name being president in order to stir up hear and hatred so that he's 'in the club'. Disgusting. Goddamnit indeed.

It occasionally plays possum for a while, but, like the soulless zombie it is, it eventually always arises to wreak havoc on the populace. With great glee, I might add.

And we're supposed to play nice with these people? Screw that. I want 'em squashed squishy, with a stake through the heart and their mouths stuffed with garlic. (Metaphorically speaking, of course. Hi, Agent Mike!:hi:)
