Dominican Priest Tells People To Turn Off The Fox News
Raleigh NC

Father Hugh Burns, O.P., a priest who has preached around the United States, Carribean, and Latin America, has been at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Raleigh holding a retreat called “Get Real: Religion with two feet on the ground”. This past weekend, he told attendees "to turn off the Fox News" and also "give Obama a break".

I thought this was interesting. I think they realize also, the pushback is coming against the far right. They are trying to get people to come back to the Church.

1. OTOH, Father Burns may be that rare bird; a real Christian!

4. PLEASE tell me where I can find mention of this!
I have several Catholic family members who are avid Fox viewers.

Do you want me to run the story at a website? Maybe I can get an interview?

Therefore, I haven't ran it as a story anywhere though it would be relatively easy to get others to confirm. However, it would be best to get him to speak to the situation.
