Union-made TP?
Anyway I'm almost out of toilet paper. I usually just buy whatever is on sale, but the Koch's and WI protests got me thinking. I looked on-line, but it really wasn't clear which brands, if any were Union made. Any help?

3. I don't know if they are union
I found a Care brand of toilet paper at our 99 cent store. I bought about 15 packages, the last of what the store had. It is 100% post-consumer recycled and is made in red, red Oklahoma, so I'm doubting union, but maybe. There are many closet Democrats there. I saved one of the wrappers to contact the company to see if it is sold in our area anywhere else, but it is at the house. I'm guessing the company is located in southeast Oklahoma, because there is a very stinky paper mill there not far from where I have relatives, and when the wind is just right . . .

4. Even if not Union...
Being 100% post-consumer recycled is still great. I'll have to check at our dollar store to see if they carry that brand. Plus can't beat the price :) Thanks.

41. I found out some more about about the Care brand
I did a quick google search and found that they are owned by Orchids Paper out of Pryor, Oklahoma. On the website, I saw where they ship only within a 900-mile radius to keep costs down. I have no idea whether they are union, and I wasn't able to confirm that the TP is 100% post-consumer, but it said to be 100% recycled.

I'm looking, but I don't know the names of products. There might be a recyclable brand that's union. I'm still looking

10. any way to tell how old that site is?
I bought a washer last year and I could only find one small brand still made in America.
I ended up with a Whirlpool. I know they pulled manufacturing out of the US years ago and sent it to Mexico. Yet they are on the list.
- they had bought out Maytag which was union and sent everything to Mexico.

Go to that site and I THINK you can get coupons. The sunday papers regularly (3-4 times a year) have $1 coupons, and I've also seen $2 and $3 dollar coups as well.

15. Here:
http://www.theonion.com/articles/this-new-toilet-paper-is-so-soft-and-absorbent,10808/

You probably won't believe me when I tell you that new Cushy™-brand bathroom tissue is the softest, most absorbent bathroom tissue you'll ever try. Heck, I was skeptical at first, too! Even after learning about Cushy's™ specially quilted "Moistu-Weave" inlay, I still thought, "Come on! How much better could one bathroom tissue be than another?" But once you've felt for yourself the heavenly sensation of a folded-up wad of Cushy™ sliding across your excrement-smeared anus, you're sure to agree: Cushy™ is the most luxurious tissue you'll ever wipe your ass with!

Wow! When it comes to getting your rectal opening clean as a whistle, removing every last trace of stinking, disgusting fecal matter from the puckered surface of the human anus, Cushy™ just can't be beat! Its patented, three-ply "Feces-Grabbing Action" has been specially designed by scientists to wipe away 30 percent more human dung from the anal region than the leading brand–even in those problem "hairy" areas where tiny balls of shit can get trapped for days! When it comes to making sure my asshole's been wiped right, I trust Cushy™. As the commercial says, "With Cushy™, I Know My Ass Is Clean!®"

removed, so for me, it's not once a day, it's more like ten or twelve or sometimes even more. I can't even believe I'm posting this on the internet, lol, but I use the shower and also have a big plastic cup next to my bathroom sink that I use to clean up - with warm water!! I've thought many times about getting a bidet, but certainly not if it uses cold water!!

38. See, I always thought a bidet was a separate unit, and the ones I've seen did have
warm water. I would look into that. it's like a half toilet, really.

Particularly for you, it would make things much easier. Thank you, it just goes to show how we at times assume everyone's situation is similar on the internet. We don't always know what the situation is for others. Thanks for bringing that home to me once again.
