Did you hear what Lawrence O'Donnell reported on Ohio's labor union bill vote? |
|
To get the to the floor they had to get it past 2 committees. The Republicans did not have enough votes to get it out of each committee because of Republican defection. They were short 1 vote on each committee. The Republicans booted off a Republican who would vote no on each committee in order to replace the guy with one that would vote for the bill thereby getting the bill out of committee and to the floor for a vote. Talk about sleazy.

2. The system is corrupt and they are gaming it. |
|
I think all those legislations passed under dubious circumstances should be made void and another vote taken until they get an honest vote. I don't know if the President can step in and declare those legislations null and void, but it seems there should be some branch of government that can.

12. That branch of government is called the judiciary. |
|
Presumably starting with the state judiciary.
I don't know anything about the integrity level of the Ohio judiciary; but a challenge would still presumably start there.

5. To the DUERs that say there is no difference between democrats and republicans. |
|
There IS a difference and the trickery in Ohio stands as one more prime example of that difference. Remember what happened in Ohio the next time you consider voting for a no hope candidate in a nail bitter election or sitting out that election at home.

6. Lawrence O'Donnell show is still on |
|
I am watching the show now. You will be able to watch it when it is posted on his show'site on the MSNBC website.
He also mentioned that the some of the Republicans were ticked off. The leaders rigged the vote on the committees just in time to get the result they wanted.
They show will repeat on MSNBC at 11 pm EST (10 pm CST).
He also had that scumbag state senator that called protesters slobs, along with 4 protesters. He senator is still a scumbag.

9. From Columbus Dispatch |

10. Why does that sound so freaking illegal? |
|
These bastards make up the rules so that they can't be bent, broken and/or twisted for any eventuality.
Why am I surprised?

13. All you have to know about the Kasich Bunch is what he said about the patrolman who gave him a |
|
legitimate ticket for not getting over in the far lane when he approached a State Patrol car that had someone pulled over. Kasich called him an idiot! Have you EVER heard a Governor call a policeman an idiot? That is his character. He is as low as they go! Yet he goes to his "bible" study every Monday or he did before he was elected. This man is dangerous and vindictive!
