Breaking : Mooseburger Barbie now knows of a SCOTUS decision she disagrees with
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/03/02/sarah-palin-westboro-bapt_n_830485.html

Sarah Palin responded to a ruling issued by the Supreme Court on Wednesday upholding an appeals court decision that protesting outside military funerals is protected by the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

"Common sense & decency absent as wacko "church" allowed hate msgs spewed@ soldiers' funerals but we can't invoke God's name in public square," wrote Palin on Twitter shortly after the ruling was struck down.

(end snip)

Too bad she disagrees with an 8-1 decision. :facepalm.

For those who don't remember, this was one of the questions that lamestream Katie Couric asked her in 2008.

1. So wait she disagrees with a decision that allows
people to hate gays in public? So is she admitting she doesn't hate gays now?

11. Well, there are people here who believe in "freedom of speech"
People have the right to spew their hatred. But, as they say, there are consequences to your free speech, and the government will not protect you from your own stupidity.

4. "we can't invoke God's name in public square" = a bald-faced lie... pledge of allegiance, hello...
"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

6. She has never understood the actual concept of Constitutionally protected Free Speech. She said
people criticizing her are infringing on her free speech rights - and Dr. Laura losing her show was a violation of her free speech rights. She is truly, totally clueless.

7. Palin is an idiot.
Government not officially endorsing/recognizing one religion over the other != the loss of the ability to "invoke God's name in a public square".

You can say what you want but you don't get to expect people to listen.
