Any embarrassment that the so-called news media in this country faces in light of Al Jazeera's stellar coverage of events in the Middle East since, say, bu$hler's invasion of Iraq has been purely self-inflicted.

By the simple day-to-day exercise of fundamental Journalism, Al Jazeera humiliates what passes for news organizations in this country. And it ain't about the money. Rupert Murdoch could buy Al Jazeera about fourteen times. Ma'am., it's about the agenda.

I don't recall hearing a peep of opposition out of your husband about that deregulation business back in 1996. Not that he could have stopped it, but he might have said something--especially in light of what the both of you had already learned of the Vast Right Wing Etc.
