Rush Limbaugh said on his program today that there are "used Kotexes" littering the ground in Madison. After all, every woman I've ever met drops used feminine hygiene products wherever, don't they? :sarcasm: It's one more smear against women, and against those who continue to protest the reality that those in Wisconsin may lose their collective bargaining rights.

I was all set to charge out to the store and ship off a brand-new box of Kotex to the Rushster. After all, it sounds like he's about out, and I wouldn't want him having to ask around for a fresh pad. At the same time, why waste money that could go to an organization offering all women great health care? Planned Parenthood also offers education on reproductive health. We know a monthly menstrual period is normal in women of childbearing age, for instance. The Republicans don't.

If you really want to hit big bad Rush where it hurts, send a donation to the following in his name. They'll send him a nice card, thanking him for the donation. After Sarah Palin's bon mot, PP received (IIRC) half a million dollars in donations. They need the money.

So: Five or ten bucks will go a long, long way. Instead of wasting our time with sending Kotex, let's make a statement.
