Walker's Budget Pulls State Funded Birth Control
Posted Thursday March 3, 2011 1 hour, 1 minute ago
Scott Walker-Gov (R)

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker (R)

Madison, Wis. (Learfield) - Wisconsin health insurers would no longer have to pay for birth control under Governor Scott Walker’s proposed new state budget. The Republican Walker wants to un-do the requirement approved two years ago by former Governor Jim Doyle. Democrats had tried for over 10 years to make insurance cover birth control prescriptions. And they were finally able to do it when they had control of the entire Legislature and the governor’s office the past two years. Planned Parenthood and various public health groups supported the measure, which took effect last year. Catholic and pro-lifers opposed it.

2. When are these idiots going to ask to see Jesus' birth certificate?
 Well, if they can't prove he was born in Bethlehem, I guess I'll quit religion

Seriously, it is time to bring an end to faith-based reality destroying society!

4. They're trying to pull similar shit in every state - an attempt is being
made in Iowa to deny any funding at all for any kind of abortion, even if it's required to save the life of the mother.

6. more babies left in toilets
is the result of no contraception and no right to abortion.

also more beaten babies, babies burned

all these poor souls their bodies should be shipped to the people who condemn women to unwanted pregnancies.
If there is a god, may she bless the babies and damn the lawmakers.

7. I'm guessing that the insurance companies would much prefer
paying for birth control expenses. It would be better profit for them in the long run.

8. I'm confused - headline says "State Funded" BC, paragraph says "health insurers...pay for" BC
And if he's managed to put this under the state budget, it sounds as if the headline is more accurate.
