"We apologize for any inconvenience"

In about six months the "decade" since 9/11 will be observed AD NAUSEUM. And as that decade approaches we have been bombing, shooting, and burning a country for now Nine years and four plus months (and another for 8 years in two weeks time).

Nobody really knows the number of people we've killed, but it's safe to assume it is several times the nearly 3,000 killed then.

And if there is a symbol of the futility of it all, it is this:
