Poll question: What kind of Democrat do you identify with? |
|
Edited on Thu Mar-03-11 01:32 PM by Horse with no Name
This is a hit and run poll--I have a meeting shortly and will be back to discuss.
On edit, let me add this. I consider myself a progressive liberal. I believe in choice, no wars, health insurance for all, education for all, free daycare, food stamps, and immigration amnesty. So--when I define Liberal/Progressive...this is where MY head is at.:)

Heh.
I voted Fringe. I don't think my perspectives are that marginalized, but I sure don't get any support for them here.

I'm not exceptionally socially liberal (though still a little left of center), but about as far to the left on the economic issues as it is possible to be.

I haven't a clue what a "professional leftist" is. Or "fringe," for that matter. Both terms sound like rightwing bullshit to me, meant to smear and meant to wound. I'd add social security benefits to your list, Horse. And, although there are pretty nasty perps out there who shake my convictions at time...I'm anti-corporal punishment too. And, oh yeah, better gun regulation, please.
