Calling all Pilots - an idea to add pressure in Wisconsin |
|
I've gone to the EAA (Experimental Aircraft Associatin) fly-in at Oshkosh for something like 19 years in a row. For anyone that doesn't know about it the fly-in at Oshkosh is HUGE, with well over 10,000 aircraft and hundreds of thousands of people in attendance throughout the week. I'm getting ready to send an email to the press director at EAA telling him I won't be attending this year if Wisconsin doesn't do right by it's workers. I'd imagine that the EAA would get real panicked if they saw a potential 20 or 30 percent drop in attendance this year, and they've definitely got pull with the state government.

1. I'm not familiar with the group, but it sounds like a plan to me. |

Any pressure that can be brought to bear on Walker is a good thing. He is, in the end, nothing but a bully, and when you hit back at a bully, they cave.

PATCO began it's strike. I lived near Kankakee, IL at the time with my mom and 2 brothers, one of which was a private pilot.
I think preparing for Walker's recall election may be a better strategy. You could tell them that.
