Tea Party leader: Charlie Sheen makes more sense than Boehner

The founder of one of the largest Tea Party groups has had enough of the lack of budget cuts sought by House Speaker John Boehner. Tea Party Nation founder Judson Phillips calls Boehner "a fool," proposing that the movement challenge him in the 2012 elections and saying he's making less sense than Charlie Sheen.

"The Tea Party movement sprang up in 2009 as a reaction to insane government spending," Phillips wrote on his blog. "In 2010, the American people spoke, demanding change. Everyone realizes that the level of spending cannot be sustained. John Boehner did not get that message.

"Charlie Sheen is now (making) more sense than John Boehner."
