Insurance companies not required to cover birth control under Wisconsin budget
MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Gov. Scott Walker's budget would repeal a state law requiring insurance companies cover prescription birth control.

Walker's budget released Tuesday would undo the law signed in 2009 by his Democratic predecessor Gov. Jim Doyle. Passage of the bill, which took effect last year, came after more than a decade of trying by Democrats.

The mandate had been fought by anti-abortion groups and Catholics but supported by Planned Parenthood and public health groups.

1. I hope the people are happy with what they voted in. Other states will also
regret what they did, give it some more time.

2. More like what they didn't vote for
Too many didn't bother to vote. Meantime, the right-wing base was whipped into a froth, and flocked to the polling booths. Here's what happens when reasonable folks stay home.

3. So true, people often take for granted what they have and leave it to someone
else to do it for them, and the RW are more than pleased to vote for them.

5. What is going on is SO clear.
Every year, the Rethuglicans whip up their base, and raise funds, by declaring some groups in our society as their enemies.

This year, they've declared war on Women, and Unionized workers, especially in the public sector.:puke: :argh: :wtf:

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! :grr:

I hope they go down to FLAMING DEFEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

6. Imperial Walker couldn't possibly be a more complete fucking asshole.
I'm sorry for the harsh language, but it fits. This buddy bill is the biggest insult to human decency I have seen in a long time. He is utter scum and I can't wait to see his Gomer Pyle- looking assface recalled.
