1. Sadly, there are more actual facts on "The Daily Show" than you'll find on FOX Noise.
Come to think of it, finding facts on FOX Noise is a "needle in the haystack" problem.

2. Stewart mixes comedy and politics.....
...while Carlson mixes lies and politics. So, why shouldn't people like Stewarts approach more than Carlson's? Everyone likes a comedian, no one likes a liar.

We live in the dark. :(

6. "It doesn't seem like Robert Gibbs 'gets' the network (FOX)"...

No, the WH just thinks it's a problem that people think FOX is real news.

8. I think it is a problem that, in comparison to other so called news sources...
it is news.

If a real news program comes on where information is given a higher priority than, propaganda, ideology, and making a buck, people will know what news is.

14. It's ironic that the guy who couldn't hold a job at any cable news outlet
thinks he is qualified to decide what is "real news" and what isn't.

Personally I think the Daily Show has considerably more actual news content than anything on Fox News.

21. A question on Million Dollar $$ Drop was "who did people say was the most trusted newscaster.....
Edited on Wed Dec-22-10 12:51 PM by nc4bo
in America in 2009?" and the answer was either Brian Williams and Jon Stewart.

They chose poorly w/Brian Williams.

(LOL couldn't help but google it in the hopes that some site picked up on it: http://www.newsfromme.com/archives/2010_12_21.html - under Gummed Drop and after the spoiler alert)

Thought it was very interesting and wondered how many people were polled and what their demos were. If the site is to be believed, the answer (or assumption) is there too.

22. "The problem" is that there's NO ALTERNATIVE for "Real News"
Sometimes, TDS is the ONLY mainstream media source for important news.
