"I'd rather see my ship at the bottom of the sea than in the hands of a pirate"
While watching the first "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie the other night and hearing this line, I just realized, this is how the Republicans in our gov't think. They have clearly stated that defeating Obama in 2012 is more important to them than ANYTHING, even the welfare of this nation. They would rather see America in economic despair, they would rather see Americans starving and dying in the streets by the thousands, than see America in the hands of a Democrat. That is why 2012 is so important for us, because they would rather have power over a 3rd world country than no country at all. Better to reign in hell then to serve in heaven.

I know I'm preaching to the choir here, just thought it was an appropriate metaphor for their mindset.

1. You got it.
But I think that maybe the way to handle this is to vote republican, let them do their worst, then line them up against the wall and shoot them and be done with it.

8. Maybe I should have included:
What will happen when those gun-toting teabaggers find out they've been had?
