Teachers to protest Obama and Jeb in Miami.
From NBC Miami:

ObamaFail for Jeb Choice: Teachers

Picture from NBC Miami

Teachers from all over Miami-Dade County want to give Jeb Bush a time out.

So they'll be at Miami Central High Friday afternoon, when the ex-governor will join President Obama for a visit to the school.

The protest, organized by the United Teachers of Dade, focuses on what they are calling Bush's "anti-public education agenda" that includes, UTD says, $3.3. billion in cuts from public education in Florida, the elimination of programs like art and music, and a system that forces larger class sizes, among other issues.

..."However, teachers aren't fond of Obama's buddy choice for the visit, and so will be at Northwest 17th Avenue and 95th Street Friday afternoon to let him know.

Good for them, will be watching for pictures.

23. As I see it we are moving towards a three party system.
The left, the right and the larger center. That's why Pres Obama is throwing the left under the bus. He wants that center party.

24. That could be. imo whoever runs on the distinction between gov't of, by and for
...the people vs gov't of, by and for corporations will win in the long run.

There's only one thing that can beat the corporations - and that's the people.

29. True, which is why I want to see a primary challenge. This prez either...
...doesn't get it or is part of the corporate rule movement.

31. Call me crazy but here's what I think.
Pres Obama get's it. He isnt dumb. So he either is a corporatist at heart or is being forced to act like one.

Once upon a time, in 2008 I was sure that King Bush II would declare a national emergency and, "for the good of the country" retain the presidency until the emergency was over (in other words, indefinite). During his 8 looong years, he had everything set up to do this. There is even a law to allow him (I cant put my hands on it right now). There was a lot of talk about a Unitarian Executive. And King Bush II had already pushed the limits of his Constitutional powers.

But something happened and all of a sudden the normally talkative Bush and Cheney were silent. They left Washington the DC with their tails between their legs. Not like them esp Cheney.

I think the powers behind the King Bush II reign decided to back off and let Obama win. They even helped by running a couple of outright nitwits against him. I just read a book and wish I could remember the quote, but in other words, "If you are winning the battle too easily, watch out for an ambush". In other words, if Obama fails, the fascists will walk back in with more power than ever.

As part of this, I think someone has taken Obama aside and in some way threatened him to lay of prosecution of the war criminals, and to be very friendly to business.

I offer this free of charge and guarantee it worth every penny.

Keep up the good fight.

32. Too late to rec, but I hope it's a very big demonstration.
The Bush Family are anti-teacers and anti-education. It is a disgrace that we elected a president who is so anxious to please the regime we thought we were throwing out of power and would eventually be investigating and bringing to justice for their lies and corruption that brought this country down.
