LIBYA: Facebook post says soldiers in video were shot in the head for refusing to fight

March 4, 2011 | 9:23 am The Qatar-based international news network Al Jazeera has highlighted and linked to a graphic video of nearly two dozen men, purported to be Libyan soldiers, who had been shot in the head at close range.

¬snip¬

The Facebook page said the video first appeared on state TV, which identified the dead as soldiers killed by anti-government fighters.

But the Facebook post said the men were actually killed by pro-government forces for refusing to fight.

2. More ancillary deaths in the struggle over oil.
How sad. Not sure about the "their deaths will not be in vain" though.
