Question I have regarding teabagger "logic"...
Yeah I know teabagger logic is an oxymoron at it's most textbook level, but there's one question I've never seen asked:

If these people hate the government so much and want it out of their lives, then why do they want to run it so badly?

It seems to me if they hate it so much, they'd stay out of it!

From Grover Norquist.

That's what they want.

3. I understand that
their puppeteers have a goal to get the government out of the way of corporations so that any interference to big business is squelched. That's not hard since there is a revolving door at higher levels that execs walk through from business to government and back again.

So, they are "infiltrating" in, what is obiviously, an attempt to remove, mess-up and/or destroy what remains. That will leave the teabaggers, (and us) with nothing at all between predators and people. They won't like the results, yet they are pretty good at imagining some other cause and the corporations have lots of dreams to tell them and sell them as they live in third-world decay, eating and living in deadly poison.

There is much profit to be had in misery, so the corporations will smile and continue to ratchet-up the pain and privation.

This may be one of the chief reasons we are starting to wake-up, rise-up and smell the stench rising from the lack of representation. What choice do we have when faced with the potential outcome of a complete, corporate takeover?

13. Next time a bagger tells you he doesn't want
gubmint tellin' him what to do, ask him he'd rather have big business tell him what to do. If you don't like your government representation, you can fire them at the next election. How will you get rid of Monsanto if they run our entire agriculture system? How will you get rid of Bank of America when they control all of your money?

5. Excellent question, which should be asked of every single repuke and teabagger.
At the very least, they should forfeit their government salary, benefits, and pension.

Fucking hypocrites.

7. Quote from P.J. O'Rourke:
"The Republicans are the party that says government doesn't work and then get elected and prove it."

And of course, we all know the Teabaggers are just a rebranding attempt of the GOP.

explode like that guy in the movie "Scanners". Here's a good example. Joe the Plumber was in Wisconsin yesterday, bad mouthing unions and telling everyone who would listen that he wanted to move to the state. If Joe was a real plumber, he would know that most, if not all, plumbers belong to unions. So that leaves us with two possibilities: Joe is not a plumber(owning two pipe wrenches and a plunger does not make you a plumber) but merely a liar; he really is a plumber and is merely stupid. Take your pick Joe. In closing, I'm reminded of that old line, "Where's the pipe dope? Oh, you mean Joe?"

11. It is worse than that .... the real question is this ....
Why would you hire a person for a job, when that person tells you during the interview that they think the job can never be done well?

The GOP screams that the government can never do anything good, and when they get elected to majorities, the GOP members do everything they can to ensure that the government does nothing well.

12. Easy
Government is the ONLY entity powerful enough to force people to live a certain way. If they were to 'stay out of it,' then the "other side" would use government to force them to live according to the "other sides" beliefs instead of their own beliefs.
They don't hate government, they just don't want it running their lives for them.

14. Government is the collective will of the people
Most Americans are ready to move on into the 21st century. A few knuckle draggers are unwilling and afraid of the future.

16. Maybe
But at this point in time, most Americans do not believe the collective will of the people trumps the rights of the individual. It will happen, as more and more Americans become dependent on government, but those who believe in individual rights are not going to change their minds overnight.

20. Tea Party is the newest name for the religious right.
They got their asses handed to them as the religious right, after having their way for a few years. Teabaggers will go down in flames faster after the insane overreach that is being witnessed. The 2010 election was the teabagger Waterloo, independents that voted for them already regret their votes in astounding numbers.
