President Obama has tried so hard to get republicans and wall street to like him, and no matter what
he does they still hate his guts

dennis gartman was asked on bloomberg if he would give any credit to the Obama administration for the favorable economic results today. His response was absolutely none, it was all due to the corporations, and in spite of Obama. You could feel the hate that seeths from these analysts, and it never ends. Of course it is never brought up that these bozos never called the crash, and the financial community they support created the economic crisis we are in.

The same thing hold with the republicans. He has bent over backwards, and effectively presented the republican plan they presented during the Clinton administration.

This is much more than just simple political or philosophical difference, this is racism pure and simple, and the corporate media is leading the charge

16. They're riding him the way an employer does.
And so far, it seems like it works.

6. It's not that he's trying to get the Republicans to like him.
It's that he agrees with the GOP on quite a few issues.

Remember back during the campaign when he praised Reagan? That was a sign, but few were willing to recognize it.

17. It just hit me when I read your OP's subject line. The parallels are undeniable -
consider Repuke recalcitrance compared to Obama's conciliatory stance. The responsibility for managing and maintaining the relationship is being shouldered by Obama - that is just classic enabling behaviour.

12. His futile efforts only reframe the debate to the right and push the radical regressives
further to the extreme in an effort to differentiate themselves from the "Commie Kenyan".

No matter what he does, they stand to lose nothing by going more extreme and talking about him like he is some younger, darker Stalin or something. Obama could set up shop to the Reich of John Birch and they'd just yell "Socialist" even louder than before.

13. I'll take Presidents for $1000
Answer: "Another word for a President."

Question: "What is a titular head?"

There are many vested powers around that office. Where one begins and the other ends is the question. I think a President would have to go rogue in order to buck the entrenched system, as I suspect Kennedy was doing, in order to make the kind of changes we expect.

Our expectations may be unwarranted, but it is convenient to have a person/face to chatter about and at. Takes some of the attention off the cretins behind the curtains. Great and powerful OZ and all that.

The truth on who and/or what is behind that curtain will be a puzzle for me until the day I turn to dust, because it will never be revealed - the ultimate shell (con) game.

14. Is that why Obama bashes the left? Is that why we get called drug addicts
by his spokeman for wanting a public option? Is that why we are consistently treated with animosity and disdain?
We constantly get told STFU, or to pull over on the side of the road and resign?

20. He doesn't understand that they'll never like him.......
It's not just that they don't like him; they don't like the fact that he exists. They're never going to like him.

Apparently he's never going to understand that.
