Well...now he has started his Progressives United...and now that they have thrown out Newt :rofl: as a viable candidate, why NOT Russ as a primary challenge??

Even if there is no challenge to Obama's candidacy, we progressive Democrats need to have a stronger voice in the Democratic Party.
I think the only way we can rein in Obama's readiness to give away our livelihoods to the Kochs and other clients of the Republican Party is to field a progressive candidate like Feingold.
There are other qualified progressive candidates, so we are not limited to Feingold, but Feingold would be great.

That should have put an end to that limitation on being a candidate where it is Feingold or anyone else.
