Is Gov. Scott Walker Resorting To Extortion?......
Did I hear he has threatened to layoff 1500 people if the Dem Senators don't come back today? Is that right?

Isn't that extortion?

What's the difference between that and a criminal saying that they will kill your dog, wife or family if you don't give them the money?

Isn't extortion a crime?

1. This is not allowed in collective bargaining.
Threats of layoffs cannot be used as a bargaining tool. Like it or not, Scottie, collective bargaining is still the law in Wisconsin.

I hope he gets sued for breaking this law and others. Keep him tied up in court forever.

7. It seems to me
what the Kock brothers, Walker and the rest of the tea baggers are trying to crime is almost a nation wide crime family. Maybe we can take them down with RICO.

8. With politiicans it's called brinksmanship
It's a key tactic to achieve SHOCK based policy change.

And of course, shock-based policy isn't particularly carefully examined before it is inacted.
