Westboro Baptist is a no-show today in San Jose

Members of the Westboro Baptist Church failed to show at San Jose's Gunderson High School Friday night to picket a sold-out play about the murder of a young, gay man in Wyoming.

But if they had, they would have received an earful from more than 500 counter protesters who made their views clear on their signs, in their cheers and the smiles beaming on their faces as young and old, gay and straight gathered at Gunderson High to support the school and fight off the vibes from the Kansas-based church.
