Elie Wiesel is Fox News' 'Holocaust Winner'

When Nobel Peace Price winner and Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel visited Fox News' dingbat morning show Fox & Friends last week, the chyron labeled him "Holocaust Winner" Elie Wiesel. Fire every intern! But congrats on the win, Elie Wiesel.

The tragicomic typo comes around 0:40; you can see the clip at the link above

7. Oh, God... Does anyone remember the episode of Larry David's
"Curb Your Enthusaiasm" in the first or second season, when his father invites his old dear friend, a holocaust (concentration camp) survivor to dinner, which included a guy named, Colby, one of the original contestants (winners?) of the tv show "Survivor".... It was so uncomfortably ludicrous, it was actually funny in a perverse way, with "Colby" arguing with the old Holocaust survivor how difficult his survival experience was.

This is what the current inanity and unbelievable stupidity reminds me of.

8. Yes that was classic.
And it was the fourth season - episode called, appropriately "The Survivor".

"Holocaust Winner."

Good grief. And people actually watch that shit - and enjoy it. And come back for more.

13. I would guess it was supposed to say "Holocaust survivor" and "Nobel Prize winner".
Since Wiesel is both. But some idiot conflated the two instead of switching between them.

Who knew that Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity were in charge of the Fox Spews chyron?
