Koch's American for Prosperity "Stand with Walker" Bus Tour BUSTED!!! (DISCLAIMER For ALL To See!!!)
Edited on Sat Mar-05-11 09:30 AM by kpete
The conservative television channel in Milwaukee announced the fabulous "Stand with Walker" bus tour -- http://www.dailykos.com/story/2011/03/05/952625/-Kochs-American-for-Prosperity-Stand-with-Walker-Bus-Tour-BUSTED!!! disclaimer and all:

The conservative group Americans for Prosperity will take a pro-Scott Walker blitz on the road beginning Thursday. . . .

"They can't necessarily come to Madison and protest," said Matt Seaholm. "We're hitting everywhere. with the purpose of letting people know that there are people in Wisconsin that are supporting Scott Walker and what the Republicans in the legislature are doing. . . .

Americans for Prosperity is funded by outside donors like the billionaire Koch brothers, who also contributed heavily to Scott Walker's run for governor.http://www.todaystmj4.com/news/local/117290393.html

12. Yeah, right.
They haven't heard that in Eau Claire yet. The dogsled was delayed bringing in last month's newspaper.

20. Reminds me of two old overalled farmers from the flatlands joking with me

at the farmer's co-op in the valley below me, making fun of folks like me who live up on the Mountain.

"Why, y'all don't get the Grand Ole Opry 'til around Wednesday night up there, ain't that right?"

:)

9. The DKos story mentions the # of petition signatures suddenly increasing by more than 100,000.
The higher number is apparently the figure for the online petition on the AFP site. I guess it became too embarrassing for the tour organizers to keep giving reporters the number of actual handwritten signatures gathered during the bus tour, so they're giving the number for the online petition (which probably has a lot of fake signatures) and hoping reporters will assume those are signatures gathered at the bus tour stops.

16. They should move the meeting spots about 20 miles to the east
If they did I wouldn't be surprised to see their followers wading into the water "to catch the bus" in Lake Michigan
