8. News 18 was the only news outlet I saw there. Saw the car
but did not see any camera's. Perhaps he was over with Rep. Petri (R) who was talking listening to folks on the other side.

I heard the American for Prosperity bus (Walker's bus pony show) showed up earlier (this was a counter protest event) but only a few got off the bus and they left early.

Walker was to be at the Chippewa Valley airport at 1:10 pm for a news conference in a hanger.

to live in Tom Petri's district further south and I got the two mixed up. Thanks for the correction.

13. Thank you very much for the welcome. I was
in madison last Saturday with thousands before they closed the Capitol. some many people all with a cause and peaceful. Folks have awoken. The Democratic 14's goal was to delay the vote to let the people know what was going on. It worked. Now the waiting starts to see if Walker blinks. But we will not let up.

22. The atmosphere at these things is incredibly upbeat.
Laughing, singing, chanting, waving--too bad we never thought of this kind of event before to break up the winter.

9. If they made it to Eau Claire, they must have a brazillion signatures by now
So hours after leaving the Green Bay Area with 1,000 signature in support of Walker and hoping for 2,000 by Sunday's arrival in Madison they stopped in Wausau to see 200 supporters. Please note that in 2000 Wausau had a population of 38,426. Then hours later they landed in Rhinelander with 115,000 signatures.

11. They were a very small group that got off the bus and they did
not stay long at all. Doubt they could have have collected many as there were NOT many supporters in Eau Claire at the rally at all.

14. Look at all those violent, unamerican union thugs
Please, please, please, never forget to remind other people how much fun freedom fightin' is. Every one of those people in those pictures looks like he or she is having the best time in the cold and the snow. And when was the last time you could say that, looking at a crowd shot in such conditions?

Good job, Badger Staters!
