I play it while I'm on my computer or when I'm laying down usually.
What you do is have C-SPAN on during their coverage of either Congressional hearings or speeches. You listen for the representative or senator to speak and based on how they speak and what they say, you make a guess at whether they are Democrat or Republicans. Representatives or Senators whose voices you are familiar with count for half as much. You get 2 points for a correct guess of an unfamiliar voice and 1 point for a familiar one.
So far I've stayed around 90% accuracy. I really think that there is a quantifiable difference between D's and R's when it comes to their speaking styles and content.

1. So when do you get to take a shot? |
|
If you guess a Dem correctly you drink a beer; for Repub, drink expensive cognac.

2. Well I didn't really think of it as a drinking game |
|
Mostly as an exercise to tell when I'm hearing talking points that can typically be discarded or an actual discussion.
I guess a drinking game for it would be to listen to the R's talk and take a shot every time you hear talking point phrases like "Obamacare".
