6. What is happening in Wisconsin to all public employees...
... is happening in Tennessee but just to teachers. Personally I have been taking inspiration from the labor movement in Wisconsin and I am certain that all who were at the rally today do as well. I am afraid that things may be more of a done deal in Tennessee than they are in Wisconsin. I suppose the most common thread at the rally may have been "We won't forget." As I think the gop is going to get it done here.

11. TEA rep said 4-5 thousand.
I'm not good at crowd counting so I don't know how accurate that may be. I'd have guessed less but like I said, I'm not good at it. Tea party was there too. About ten of them. Maybe fifteen.

13. No, but there was a nasty looking elderly lady there.
Looked to be about 70 and used a walker. I gave her a wide berth just in case.

12. Any notion of this gaining in numbers, strength, and support?
I'm curious to see if strong movement begins to build up else where.

14. Tennessee is not a union state and while I strongly hope it gains momentum
I am skeptical that it will.

21. Yes I knew that.
And
I am skeptical as well -- but it's one of the states where I'd like to see it catch fire
For those very reasons.

17. He hasn't been in the job long enough to have any effect yet.
I'm sure it won't be good though. I'll probably be leaving Tennessee in the next couple of years too, once these anti-teacher bills pass. There just won't be any reason to stay.
