Short interesting article about Huckabee from 2007.

Mike Huckabee Record

Our Favorite Right-Wing Nut Job

An excerpt from Rolling Stone article by Matt Taibbi

One of Mike Huckabee's first acts as governor was to block Medicaid from funding an abortion for a mentally retarded teenager who had been raped by her stepfather - an act in direct violation of federal law, which requires states to pay for abortions in cases of rape. "The state didn't fund a single such abortion while Huckabee was governor," says Dr. William Harrison of the Fayetteville Women's Clinic. "Zero."

2. Since I posted earlier that some groups did not work on the abortion issue.
I should qualify that as the corporate groups, which includes many Republicans. And also Democrats.

Bush said it was a states rights issue, and with court control in many areas, the issue never came up again.

But the ratio of how much they used that for politics, and how much they actually did anything about it tells a story. And social justice includes people after they are born also.

3. There Seems to be a Pattern Here
Pardon serial rapist,
Make rape victims bear rapists' children,
poster boy for the forced parenthood movement.

4. That's because they're too fucking stupid to realize that the clerk rang in $10 instead of $2.
