So how many people were at the Captiol in Madison today?
Rueters is saying only 12,000. True or bullshit like the $7.5 million in damage?

5. There is bias galore but I don't know of a blackout.
There's thousands of news articles online.

18. Well I can see I'm not going to learn anything about it from you.
Hope you're in a better mood today then you were yesterday.

6. I wouldn't be surprised if it was sparser. HIstorically.......
there's always an ebb and flow to these kinds of things. As long as it comes back from the ebbs, that's what counts. The people have spoken about how they feel about this law. Now it depends on the Legislature. If they pass the law, I expect another gear.

10. The movement is changing focus somewhat
More toward local rallies, and of course the canvassing to recall the 8 Republican senators has started this weekend. I think a big one is planned for next Saturday, including farmers with their tractors.

11. I was there most of the day today
The Isthmus weekly is saying around 50,000. I'd say that was about right. There were less than last weekend, but still enough to entirely fill the 1 mile ring around the square with marchers, along with sizable crowds at two entrances. The open areas of the Capitol itself were also fairly full of people, and there were lines at both entrances waiting to get in.

13. Thank you. The 12,000 from Rueters sounded like b.s. I live in
Florida now but my daughter and grandchildren are in Madison. Our governor is as crazy as yours.

14. Madison police said
tens of thousands. It was hard to tell today - I think that many of us didn't stay the 10 or 14 hours that we have on some of the other days - more coming and going. But the square certainly was filled up during the march.

I actually hadn't known for sure that Michael Moore was going to be there. I had seen tweeted rumors, but I hadn't paid much attention, since I was getting myself organized to volunteer for the recall committees. But lo and behold, when I stopped for a few moments to watch the firefighters with bagpipes march by, I was delighted to see Michael Moore and John Nichols, et al, marching just behind, arm in arm. I ran over and shook Michael's hand and all I could say was "Thank you so much" with teary eyes. Normally I'm not entranced with "stars," but I can tell you that he connects with eye contact and a REAL handshake, and it felt that he was taking in all he could of each individual person who talked to him.

He DOES know what we're facing and how hard we're fighting, and I think he admires us just as much as we do him.

:patriot::cry:(that's me, crying pretty much non-stop for the past three weeks):patriot:

17. There was a rally in Madison, WI today? I didn't know that.
But MSNBC had a big headline last night about how a couple dozen teabaggers with guns rallied at the capital in Helena, MT. You gotta be a teabagger to get the headlines..... :puke: fucking MSM.
